Baleoh / Expertise

A clear assessment of what comes next.

Understand the risks, identify useful improvements and choose the next projects. A technical and AI assessment grounded in your code, workflows and constraints.

Prepare your assessment

Your needs

An informed decision before a new project.

Before taking over a product, modernising an application or integrating AI, you need to know what works, what makes the system fragile and what deserves investment. An audit should answer those questions, not produce a context-free checklist.

We agree a scope with your team: architecture, code quality, operations, performance, data or AI potential. Findings distinguish observed facts, risks to investigate and recommendations. A focused review does not replace penetration testing or certification.

Deliverables

Findings your team can use.

01

Current-state assessment

A shared understanding of the product, its dependencies and critical workflows. The review’s limitations and available access are made explicit.

02

Documented risks

Findings linked to verifiable evidence: code, tests, configuration or observed behaviour. Their impact and level of certainty are identified.

03

Qualified AI opportunities

Use cases assessed against data availability, business needs, risks and operating costs. Opportunities without sufficient value can be ruled out.

04

Prioritised roadmap

Actions ordered by impact, effort and dependencies, followed by a review with the team to decide the next steps.

Example engagement

Take over a product before extending it.

Review an application with incomplete documentation: identify critical workflows, check backups and deployment, find areas without tests and prepare a limited first improvement. The goal is to reduce uncertainty before making a commitment.

An illustrative example, not a client reference.

Method

A process shaped around your project.

01

Scope

Agree on the questions, boundaries and required access.

02

Examine

Study the system and talk to the people who use and maintain it.

03

Prioritise

Connect every recommendation to an impact and explicit dependencies.

04

Review

Share the findings and define next steps your team can act on.

Frequently asked questions

Before getting started.

What access do you need?

Depending on scope: source code, documentation, a test environment and operational information. We favour limited access and test data over unnecessary copies of sensitive information.

Can you review only part of a system?

Yes. A billing workflow, a slow API, a data pipeline or an AI prototype can form a focused scope, provided its dependencies are made explicit.

Does an audit commit us to a development engagement?

No. The assessment and its findings are a standalone deliverable. Your team can use the recommendations or define a separate implementation engagement.

Is this a compliance or cybersecurity audit?

Not by default. Scope and expertise are agreed before the engagement. Certification, regulatory audits and penetration testing require a dedicated process.
